Sarah was doing an assignment for most of the morning, so it was just the 3 of us until late in the day. As predicted, we spent most of Wednesday morning in Chinatown. It's amazing how much effort you can put in to saving $1.60 :) A couple of nice cold beers, 4 tank tops and a pair of sunglasses or two was the fruit of our time there. A real bustking place, but after a couple of hours we started exploring some other delights KL as to offer.

We stood at the foot of the Petronis towers - two huge steely monoliths that have to be seen to be believed. Tours were closed for the day, so we tried the KL communications tower instead. Now this is really tall and the tour was open. A nice half hour. A few more shops and back for a shower.

The highlight of the day was the Sky Bar - 33 floors up in the Traders Hotel. This place is legendary in KL. A pool and booths lining the side that faces Petronis Towers with huge open windows down both sides . After a bit of a wait, we got a booth without having to book a week in advance and Sarah, John and Flick joined us about 7:30. They had a bit of trouble getting in (some rule about being 21 which was a little strange as they werved James up a glass of wine at the ripe old age of 15!!)

Quite a few drinks later we headed home about midnight, with memories of spectacular views of Petronis embedded in out memories
