Thursday and Friday - getting used to the taxis now

Thursday was spent doing a bit of shopping and exploring a bit more of KL. We caught another cab in the Sarah direction to a place called Sunway Pyramid and dined Middle Eastern at a place called Tarbush - great surroundings, magnificent mixed grill and anoth Taxi ride up to KL.

Friday we were up early and flew to Siingapore. A few dramas along the way (lesson for James about mobile phones in shorts pockets and the back oif taxis). We got lucky and managed to convince the taxi driver (who was one of the few who didn't speak English) to drive back to the airport and amazingly, we got James phone back and still made the flight in time.

Singapore is much cleaner than Malaysia, the taxis more modern, but the hotel room was TINY - no fridge and about a foot bigger than the bed all around. After settling in and wandering around in 36 degree heat, we headed off to the Night Safari at Singapore Zoo. A real tourist mecca as it turned out, but plenty to see and well worth the visit. Collapsed into bed with more exploring on the cards for Saturday.
